Last week, MHI had the pleasure of hosting 8 participants from the Electricity Company of Ghana for a study tour. The group was in Winnipeg for a 5-day tour, which covered Manitoba Hydro’s distribution operations, net billing, and regulatory processes.

“It was a pleasure welcoming eight directors from the Electricity Company of Ghana for a hands-on study tour,” said Wes Mueller, Managing Director, MHI. “During their time with us, they got an inside look at how Manitoba Hydro manages many areas of its operations.”

The tour combined classroom learning at MHI’s head office with hands-on experiences, including visits to a solar installation, Manitoba Hydro’s training facility, and a meter shop tour and demonstration.

“It was a great opportunity to share ideas and learn from each other,” added Wes.
