MHI Represents Manitoba on the Team Canada Trade Mission to Mexico

MHI was pleased to participate in the recent Team Canada Trade Mission to Mexico alongside the Government of Manitoba and other leading provincial businesses. The mission was led by the Government of Canada and The Hon. Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Internal Trade of Canada, emphasizing Canada's commitment to fostering international trade and collaboration.

Representing Manitoba on the international stage, MHI engaged in high-level discussions with industry leaders, utility providers, and government officials from around the world. The meetings focused on innovative strategies to address global energy challenges, enhance sustainability, and foster collaborative growth within the utility industry.

Mexico is an important and growing market for our industry. Participating in this mission allows us to:

  • Explore new customer relationships
  • Strengthen existing partnerships
  • Showcase our Manitoba expertise on an international stage
  • Support provincial economic growth

“Building strong partnerships in regions like Mexico is key to our future growth,” said Eric Maxwell, Interim Managing Director, MHI. “These relationships not only help us grow but also position us for continued success as we explore new opportunities for collaboration and development.”

These international events highlight the importance of collaboration in tackling the complex energy challenges of today and into the future. MHI is excited to continue building on these relationships and exploring new opportunities that will benefit both Manitoba and the global community.
